When performing workforce evolution, the AI specialist doesn't need domain expertise in what they're working on. The agentic systems they build become the translation layer to accommodate communication between all parties involved. They won't be able to do the job of a Statistician or Scientist, but they can easily understand what they do — and often benefit from asking questions that someone with expertise would not question.
